Allison Gluvna was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. After receiving her undergraduate degree from Duke University, Allison graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While attending the University of Florida, Allison held an editor position for the Florida Law Review, served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing and Appellate Advocacy, and worked as a research assistant. At the University of Florida, Allison received several honors, including membership in the Order of the Coif and a Book Award in Trial Practice.
Over the course of her career, Allison has gained experience representing clients in federal and state courts in a variety of substantive areas of law. Allison started her legal career in Atlanta, Georgia, where she focused her practice on complex commercial litigation. She relocated to Tampa and worked at one of the largest law firms in the nation, where she represented corporations in a variety of high-stakes litigation and appellate matters.
Allison currently focuses her practice on family law matters, appeals, and business litigation matters. In the family law arena, she has experience with divorces involving high-net worth clients, business owners, real estate investors, and military service members. In business litigation matters, Allison has experience in cases involving fraud, contract disputes, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, theft of trade secrets, conspiracy, and defamation. Allison also handles appeals in state and federal courts.
In the legal community, Allison is actively involved in the Family Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Family Law Inn of Court, and the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers, where she currently serves as a committee chair.
